    Can it be done? Ive read that it can but I need to be sure... It has a headset jack, a sd/mmc to pack a few mbs, palm os for a player...

    You can use real player. Comes with the 650 but not the 600.

    Pocket tunes is worth the money though and if you buy the deluxe version you can stream shoutcast channels from the internet.

    It's absolutely essential for MP3's. Plus, it's the "helper app" for a number of applications including CallFilter.

    In order to use MP3's as ringtones, CallFilter requires PocketTunes. See the review of CallFilter

    It does support WAV's, but I find the MP3's to be awesome.
