Second, even in wide page mode, I only get half icons and nothing on the left side of the screen, as I said (see below). Finally, these are the directions that came with the email:

    1) To set FROG as your homepage, use your Treo to visit the above link.
    2) Press the Menu button in the lower right of your Treo's screen.
    3) Choose Tools and then Options.
    4) Click on Use Current.
    5) Press OK, and you're done!
That's why I said there is no menu button "in the lower right of the Treo's screen"...because your instructions say there should be. I do know where the menu button is on the keyboard.
Thanks for the response. This is quite helpful.

Blazer's 'optimize' mode is quite the monster. We are currently working on this issue. We did not give this a lot of attention at first as we feel the future of the mobile internet is not browser's trying to 'optimize' anything. Sites that display and function properly on phones were specifically built to fit on phones without the help of any browser. Even Google's 'optimizer' http://www.google.com/gwt/n makes a big mess of websites that were not created for phones. FROG is a very graphic rich site and 'optimize' mode doesn't do it (or any other mobile website) any favors.

You are 100% correct about the instructions that were emailed to you and we have since then corrected it. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Glad to help...and I'd really like to use your site, but as you can see from the screenshot I posted, even in the wide mode I don't see what I'm supposed to.....

Addendum: OK...one needs to go to prefs, and enable cascading style sheets. That will allow the page to display. However, the navigation 5 way doesn't work on any webpage except at the top bar. Kind of makes the 5 way useless and will require the use of the stylus. Too bad. While the optimized mode may be challenging, it works very well with the Treo.
