    Default New homepage for Treos

Our company has released a fully customizable and very useful homepage for Treo users. You will find FROG to be one of the most organized mobile portals on the web. FROG was first designed to work specifically with Treo's, but is now compatible with many different models of phones.

We encourage you to visit www.getFROG.com. Any and all feedback is very much encouraged and appreciated. FROG is completely new to smartphone users.

Nice idea...unfortunately the page doesn't display properly on Blazer on the 700P. I get nothing on the left side of the screen, and only half icons for the selected links. The navigation buttons don't work. Oh, and no "menu" button on the bottom right as per the directions.

Okay, so I filled out the forms, provided my email address and I assumed I would be sent instructions or something.

I never heard anything back and I am not sure what should have happened. The Faqs and information is very minimal.

I got an immediate email with a link and directions; unfortunately the main screen doesn't seem to work properly. I sense this is designed for Windows because of some things on the website (like the picture of the main screen with Internet Explorer at the top). Still needs a bit of work.....

Are you suggesting that it came from a previously banned member?

FROG has been fully tested and works beautifully in Blazer as long as you are in wide page mode. Blazer on the 700p defaults to 'optimized' mode which completely breaks FROG (as well as many other websites). Switch to 'wide page mode' and your entire internet browsing experience (including FROG) will be much better. You will find the menu button in the lower right hand corner of your Treo 700p keyboard. I hope this helps.

It sounds like a junk filter caught your set up email. We would be happy to resend you your set up email but we would need to know your address. If you don't want to post your email addy in this forum, please contact support@getfrog.com

No, not quite. First, you are correct that it doesn't work at all in optimized mode, which of course raises the question as to why you would develop a home page that does not work with the default viewing mode, which enables the appropriate use of the navigation keys. Second, even in wide page mode, I only get half icons and nothing on the left side of the screen, as I said (see below). Finally, these are the directions that came with the email:

    1) To set FROG as your homepage, use your Treo to visit the above link.
    2) Press the Menu button in the lower right of your Treo's screen.
    3) Choose Tools and then Options.
    4) Click on Use Current.
    5) Press OK, and you're done!
That's why I said there is no menu button "in the lower right of the Treo's screen"...because your instructions say there should be. I do know where the menu button is on the keyboard.

Specifically, this is what it looks like in wide page mode.
