Palm Desktop???

Hi, I am new to my previously owned Treo 650 and I have the sync Palm Desktop installed that I downloaded online as I did not have the original CD for the Palm sync software.
On teh far left of the Desktop Software, I heard there is supposed to be a icon for photos to sync photos from my Treo....well I dont have that icon and I can not sync my photos. Is there a fix for this and if so, whats the details???

Congrats on your new 650. Is there a tab called "Media"? That's the one where your photos would be.

Nope, NO tab called media on top, bottom, left, or right. NO icon called media. NO choice in drop down menu called media.

This a downloaded version from Palm.com which is "version 4.1.4"

only icons I have on the far left are: Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, Memos, Quick Install, VersaMail

Try This Version...

That just brought me to the beginning of the download page where I would have to choose my Treo version and PC Operating System which then takes me to the sam eversion I already have downloaded and installed.

What I need is the CD version and not what is offered to download on Palm.com

To my limited knowledge, Palm no longer posts the full Desktop sync application on their site; the ones no posted do not include the media sync manager. I suggest you contact your carrier, maybe visit the local store and beg or ...

When I up'd to my 700p, the installation program would not install; I downloaded the desktop from Palm and as a result, I cannot sync media. In response to that I do it via a card reader - it is really much faster.

I didn't realize the full download wasn't available on the site. I agree with Ben on the card reader, though. I don't sync any of my media, either (haven't since my 650 days), for the same reason -- speed.
