Hello...just feel like starting a bunch of threads...
FINALLY.:D Some well deserved activity... For the record, I have no affiliation with Clayton, but I do greatly appreciate his contributions.

As for media players, I can only comment on my history with PocketTunes. I've found it to be rock solid. I mostly use it for MP3's and as a helper application for Call Filter. With CallFilter, I needed PocketTunes to play my MP3 ringtones. On occasion, I'll tune into Shoutcast Links found on Treomobile.com. I personally enjoy the 80's music and in particular Hair Band Radio -- which is number 10 on the list. I find the streaming to be a "wow" factor. Whenever people ask me about the Treo, I show them that feature.

By they way, I'm sending this to the newly created Treo Software > Applications section in the forums. I'm on a spring cleaning kick.

    Default good to hear...

are you moving my other thread as well about the browsers?

anyways, good to hear about the pocket tunes...i think I may have to make the investment. do you transfer the music to a card through rhe treo or do you put it directly on a card with a card reader? I prefer card readers; usually much faster

I use Mark/Space Missing Sync when I transfer my music. Works great within iTunes. My Treo SD Card actually shows up in iTunes and allows me to drag and drop. I recently got an iPod Shuffle to go with my Treo and my 3G 10GB iPod --- so no matter where I am or what device...I've got music.

One more note on Pocket Tunes is the ability to "skin" your player. They have a remarkable iTunes skin.

Have you checked all the skins available from NormSoft?

    A Treo 600 Yankees Skin? That's too much.

For those of you who are considering the Yankees skin, you should add this MP3 of John Sterling to your Treo. "Yankeesssss WIN"... "Theeeeeee Yankeesssss WIN"...:D

    Breakfast and lunch at Starbuck's!:D

I'm using iTunes for Mac along with Missing Sync by Mark/Space. It installs a tiny app that mounts the SD card. It also shows up as a "mini-Treo" in iTunes. So then I simply drag and drop from iTunes to the Treo. The only caveat is that your Treo won't play iTunes AAC files purchased from the iTunes store.

Here's an image of iTunes with the Treo & my trusty iPod Shuffle.
