Ringo question
Hi,
I purchased Ringo for my Treo 650 and can import mp3s fine, but I seem to be having volume issues. THe mp3 file volumes are just not as loud as the Treo 650 default ringers.
Is there an easy solution to this?
I do know how to amplify the volume, but if you do it too much it starts to degrade the sound quality.
Thanks,
Jamie

What is the source of the MP3's you are using? Are they songs? Are you getting different results with different MP3's?

yes, they are songs.
It's not inaudible, but it's just lower than I think it should be.

You should be adjusting your volume through the Treo > Prefs > Sound > Alert Volume.
I'm using CallFilter (a different ringtone manager), but the changes in Alert volume have a very influence on ring volume of my MP3's. Just did a test with "The Used".... normally a very audible band...not so audible when Alert volume is at 3.
