    Default Rss?

Forgive me if this is posted elsewhere, but vB's search capabilities are the worst on the planet. I searched for "rss" but it's "too short" even though it's a very specific search term. I tried the standard hack of adding something like "-aslfkjsdlfjkds" but that doesn't work here.</rant>

Anyway, what's a good RSS reader for the Palm? I'd like something that can check for updates at least every 5 minutes.

Wow, every five minutes - that will sure lead to premature death of the device not covered by your medical insurance.

There are bunches of applications that do the RSS thing, some free, some pay. You get what you pay for though and most free ones are add supported.

    Free/add supported include: http://www.gotreosoftware.com/produc...reonewsreader/
    and
    http://www.iambic.com/topstory/palmos/default.asp
    and a few others.

    Pay include:
QuickNews - http://standalone.com/palmos/quick_news/ and that is the one I use. There are others also.

Every 5 minutes though? No battery will last with that kind of pull.

Thanks. I wont be needing it all of the time, but when I do 5, or 15 minute intervals max will be needed.

I installed QuickNews last night and realized one of the key features I need is authentication support. QN wont connect to the feed. I tried entering in the l/p in the user:password format but it didn't work. I'm fine paying the $15 for it if I can get it to work.

I'll give the other two a try as well.

    Thanks again.
