Snap is not co-operating for me..... - Treo Forums

Snap is not working correctly....supposedly a beep should insue after pressing the set button for taking the screenshot.....

anyone know whats up with this.....

Sounds like you're Treo isn't cooperating too much with you. I haven't used Snap -- I use a similar product ScreenShot -- and yeah, I get the beep when it takes a screenshot.

Stupid question, but are you out of memory?

no I have plenty of memory almost 2/3rds of a 1 gig card.....

I know have it all set right and following the directions to a tee......
Not sure whats wrong....

I was wondering why we never got those screen shots from you! :tongue: I second Chris- Screenshot is great. Try taking a trial and see if that works for you instead. Also, silly question but is your sound on? Maybe thats why you're not getting the beep?

Yeah its on....I will try it tonight.....hopefully it works and i can throw a few screnshots on....even if I can't do that i can still throw a couple of my backgrounds I made.....

I just got aggravated last night with this snap app.....plus I had to reformat my brothers HD and reinstall XP and apps and clean my mom's computer up and neither of them would bring their boxes over my house.....

I never knew i was a house call kind of computer geek.....

Believe me, I have heard far sillier! My co-worker has a Treo and I feel like I could create a blog just on all the funny questions she asks me...

Where does SNAP save the pictures?
I took a couple and have no ideas how to view them?
Also, do they hot sync onto my Laptop when I hotsync?

Snap, as far as I know (from trying it previously) does not make a beep or indicate that it's snapping the screenshot. What will happen is that your screen will freeze for a few seconds. Usually at that time, if you've forgotten that it's snapping the screenshot, you'd think that the Palm crashed. Most people will do the soft reset before they realize after a few seconds that everything is fine.

I think that it's saved in either the /Palm/Programs/ or something similar. I think it creates its own folder. My memory is failing so I may be wrong. It's been quite a while since I last tried Snap.

I think it creates its own folder /Snap. Maybe in DCIM or under /Palm/Programs. This is where the shots are stored.
