Anybody know when Palm will upgrade it's program so that the Treo 700P will have synchronization with Windows XP Media Center edition?

Specifically, what are you wishing to sync with in media center?

I want to sync the Treo with Outlook 2003 for Contact information, Calendar, etc. Palm says that Windows XP Media Center is not supported.

I had no idea that it wasn't supported!!! I went to the Palmsource web site and saw the posts. This changes my own plans for upgrading my laptop!! However, I am sure there are others here using Media Center! Is it not officially supported, or will it just not work period?? Glancing at the forum on palmsource, it looks like the TX won't sync at all! But I am certain there are users on this forum syncing Palm 700's to WMC. Thanks for enlightening me! As I said, this changes my own plans! Sorry it doesn't help you, however!

Unfortunately, customers don't know about the issue until they try to install the Outlook conduits and try to synchronize! I have a Sony desktop with Media Center and my Palm T3 does sync with Outlook but it won't sync with my Dell laptop! I'm reluctant to purchase a Treo until Palm supports Media Center.

I have Media Center on two computers. My T3 will sync with Outlook 2003 on one but not the other. Palm states on their website that they do not support Windows XP Media Center..

    Default reinstalled palm desktop

Yesterday, I installed palm desktop with treo attached. it wouldn't sink with my HP XPMC. Tonight, removed palm desktop and reinstalled without treo attached. Treo sinked perfectly with my Outlook 2000. Thank you for the great help!

I have the same problem. I thought that maybe Palm Desktop 4.1.4 might work, where 4.1.4E may not. Which version were you successful with?
