Default TCPMP on SD Card - Newbie Question

Just got my Treo 650 yesterday and have a very basic question. If I load TCPMP onto an SD card do the .prc files need to go into the root directory or can I create a folder and put the program files there?

In theory, you should be able to load all the TCPMP files onto the SD card. You might want to invest in an app like Powerrun that will move the program and all related files onto the SD card.

if you install any applcations on the card they have to be in the root directory
Palm/Launcher

but for files with database, it is best to put them in the main memory *ram*

hi JazzTreo and LuluGirl896
just got this from picard the one who wrote TCPMP

Sorry. At the moment TCPMP doesn't look for plugins on the SD card if there are plugins installed internally.
got it from their forums

I use PowerRun and run TCPMP off the card that way. It works perfectly fine without any problems.

I run it from the SD card by using the palm installer and changing location from phone to sd. All of my movie sds have tcmp loaded on them plus the movies. Frees up space on phone this way.

I think this means that you cannot store the program on the Treo and the plugins on the card. You need to store everything in the same directory.
