For my pc I can use pdanet to connect to the web with my treo 650. Is there a comparable program for the ibook and a treo 650?

No, there is not. My wife just obtained an iBook and we are in the process of getting it going. She can access the home network, the server and the other laptops; however, I cannot access her iBook, though I can see it. It has been a trip. She wants me to change but with the problems I am going through with her laptop, I am ot going to rush over.

You might check your Palm documentation and see if DUN will work for you.
