Versamail and Activesync
I tried syncing with my Exchange Server at work using my Treo 650,
but got this error message:
AirSAMSMEmail.c 2549 1
HTTP/1.1 500 Internal
Server Error Date: Mon,
19 Dec 2005 19:30:09
GMT Server:Microsoft-
IIS/6.0 X Powered-by:
AS
The test Settings was succesful so I don't
know what is goin on?
Any help out there?
Thanks

Delete the account and do a clean sync and then try again. The database within the Palm is not registering Active Sync to the Exchange server correctly.
You will also want to check all of your settings to be sure that they are all teh correct items, and then setup the account again. You should then get things working correctly.

I just had this problem, drove me nuts, and finally found the solution seconds before calling microsoft and paying for an incident.
Neither "Require 128-bit encryption" or "Require secure channel (SSL)" can be checked within the OWA Virtual server. Why this makes a difference, I really don't know. We're only allowing port 443 through the firewall which is inherently secure (unless I'm wrong..., if I am, please correct me) but it's now working.

You can get somewhat of an interpretation of the error messages here.
