Versamail typing response time has slowed down

Just recently my Versamail has been running slow. The response time when i write an email is terrible. From the time i press the button to the time it appears on the screen has become so slow it makes it a pain. Soft reset has not solved the problem. The slow response time is only a problem in Versamail. Anyone have any ideas

I really don't have many ideas because I haven't experienced that problem. I have 3 accounts set up and deal with approximately 90 messages a day. But rarely do I leave more than 10 of them on my Treo. I have set up one folder for each account called Keepers. These keepers are usually "dealt" with within 48 hours, and deleted too. . . I would guess that stored mail might cause the application to slow some?????

One thing is for certain . . . Deleting the versamail account and configuring back should tell you if its Versamail, or something else with the unit to cause it to slow down . . .

Since I had the problem with the corrupt versamail database, and deleted that account my versamail has performed flawlessly . .
