Almost there? Thanks for the suggestions.
I'm not sure of these applications fit the bill, though.
Unless I'm mistaken, iSilo and mobiPocket are e-readers that can't independently grab web content. I know this is the case with Plucker, which requires a desktop app to download and parse content.
What I'm looking for is a smartphone app that can be scheduled, say every 6AM, to grab web pages to a set link depth and save them, properly formatted, for offline viewing.
AvantGo may be it, but there's no Mac support (medieval philistines!). Apparently the current version has "wireless mode" which enables AvantGo as a browser, presumably capable of storing web content. Anyone know if this is true? More important, anyone know if lack of Mac support is an issue if the only intended use is Treo-based? I see that MarkSpace's Missing Sync has an AG conduit, so there must be a modicum of AvantGo/Mac cooperation going on.

btw, I'm playing with QuickNews, which is excellent, but limited to RSS feeds & podcasts. I'd like something morre robust,
