    Smile Your Call from Iambic

Just downloaded Your Call, a new program from Iambic. It works with Agendus. From what I have seen, after a phone ends, it brings up a window which you can create a new contact for the phone call, create a task, meeting, to do or even update or modify a contact.

I am going to test drive it and see what happens..stay tuned...like I don't have enough programs on my 650.

I'm not sure what Takephone is, so I'm probably not using it...

TakePhone - it is built upon the default dialer and adds a lot of functionality to it. www.shsh.com/beta - that'll get you the latest to try. Once you try it, the default dialer is just not what it use to be. I have used it for four years. Ben

Yes, I am using TakePhone with it. So far...no crashes...and yes, I agree with Benjie...TakePhone is a nice dialer. Love the Turbo find feature...don't have to go to the address book to find a phone number.

Anyway, Your Call is behaving nicely.

I went ahead and downloaded the YourCall trial. It does indeed play nice with Takephone, and it looks like a pretty slick little app. I believe I'll be registering this one.

Would TakePhone be a benefit if I use Agendus? I feel great with the Agendus software managing my contacts...it's pretty cool for me...and when I don't want to scroll through...I just use my Voice Dial.

You should start another thread to discuss TakePhone, so we don't hijack this thread. I did find one gotcha with YourCall. It doesn't let you specify helper apps, so any actions after a call are limited to the default apps. I think I'll be holding off for now.

Has anybody experienced the disappearance of the dial pad during a call after installing YourCall? I was recently trying to dial long distance using a dial around system where I would dial a local number, waited for a dial tone and needed to dial the rest of it, and found that the dial pad was not available! Tried it a few times.

Of course, the dial pad was available in the phone app, but after dialing the local number, the icons for bringing up the dialpad which normally are available, aren't.

So, I did a zero out reset (backing up of course first) and then found that it was back. I didn't install anything new in the past few days. And the dial pad was back after the reset.

Restored from an older archive just before YourCall was installed and everything seems to still work and the dial pad was back.

The app seems great, but if I lose the dial pad, I'm not sure I'd want to do that. Anyone experience this?

EDIT. This is what I'm referring to. After installing YourCall, the dial pad icon at the right, just above the microphone is gone, as is the hold button. If I recall, the only icons or buttons I see are the Hang Up and Speakerphone.
