best bluetooth earpiece for 700wx

I had an old 850 that I used with a previous phone, but ever since getting my treo I have had issues. Such as:

static even when the phone was close to the bt device.
person on the other side would hear there echo.

I figured it was old and just going bad so I gave it to a friend who has a bluetooth compliant flip phone Samsung i believe. it worked great.

So I am trying to purchase a new ear piece, but wanted to come here and see if I can get some help without doing a lot of exchanges at local stores.

I picked up a Plantronics 665. It sems to work really well. I'm told people can hear me, and I can hear them as well...which is a bonus. It paired right up to the phone with no issues at all. (755p)
