I purchased this headset after reading several favorable reviews. The sound quality was okay but not a deal breaker. However it is advertized as multipoint ( able to pair with up to 3 devices). I found out that although you can pair with 3 devices they are used sequently not simultaneously. I have to disconnect from one then connect to the other. I carry 2 phones (work, personal). I need to immediatly connect to both when a call comes in. This is just to cumbersome.

What I'm looking for is something I'll be able to hear... and those I'm speaking with can hear...at least most of what I say...lol

I drive a big truck, so it's loud. I'll give er a shot!

If it breaks you buy a new one, as the company is down under. Ben

Bluetooth is tricky. I believe the spec says that you can have 7 concurrent connections. The reality is how the spec is implemented. Initially, the Palm software would only allow you to connect to one device at a time so you could not connect to the headset and the PC at the same time. Not sure if that was ever changed. You can pair with x number but only use one at a time. I would not expect to have the BT headset be a conferancing tool between two phones.

I've only got the one phone, so it's not important to have any other connections.

I also have a Plantronice 655 and it works beautifully . If a call comes in on either phone I am immediately connected to that call. I don't have to disconnect from one then connect to the other. The only problem with the plantronices is that the part that fits in your ear comes off. I bought the Blue Ant because I wanted a one piece device. I guess you can't have everything, so I am resigned to be carefull with the plantronics or searching for the little rubber piece that fits in the ear.

I have that one too, I get tired of folks complaining that I'm breaking up...that they can't hear me...yada yada...

I go back on the road tommorow, so I'll see how this one works out. I have a blue parrot, I call that a birth control, bluetooth... I won't wear it in public, unless I'm in the truck.

I have created and held technical support workshops for Palms and many manufacturers have provided products for demo or testing. I have done limited testing but did find the Parrot and Sedio handfree to work well. Noise cancelling is always an issue. Particularly with truck noises in your case. I just use the Jabra Headset. Tucks behind the ear and works well. Pairs quickly.

I have a blue eagle, what I call the birthcontrol bluetooth... One of the ones that goes over your skull, with the big speaker and boom mike... Works well, but kinda the moped thingy... don't want to get caught with it on...lol
