bluetooth gps
hello, i have recently bought a treo, last week. since then i have found out that they are notorious for having EXTREMELY bad compatibility for bluetooth.
for headsets (though a pain in the butt) i can simply go to the store over and over until i get one that is satisfactory, and get my money back each time.
however i also planned on buying a bluetooth gps device, my question is... am i going to have extremely bad (noticable) interferance with these as well? if so, i'm going to have to get this right the first (possibly second) time... i know of NO retail locations who sell bluetooth gps devices.
i was thinking of getting an i-blue 747 datalogger, an i-blue 737 (standard, or 5hz, not decided), or ... i just noticed this one today... a haicom hi-407 which very cool-like stubs out from your cigarette lighter with no wires.
both for compatibility, or general opinion, should i go with one of these... or another... i particularly like the fact that on the i-blue (and itrek) series it turns on/off automatically for higher life, and on the haicom (which i know reletively nothing about) it will turn on and off, based on power to your cig lighter (when you turn your car on), the first couple would not need to be charged as OFTEN, the last would not have to be charged ever (which could be said for any direct power device, but this one has no wires.
anyway... opinions?
