Default Bluetooth headset loses connection to 650

My Treo branded bluetooth headset constantly loses its connection to my 650, and I have to re-link it. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know what may be causing this to happen?

I have Cingular service and I've loaded 1.17 CNG into my phone.

Default Bluetooth headset loses conection to treo 650

I have had my headset for a while. Within the past 3 weks I have regularly experienced the same "I am lost" syndrome and have to resynch the two, often multiple times/day. I am also on Cingular on the same release. I don't know if it is the headset, Palm or Cingular sw.

Default

Same issue here. Motorola headset and Treo 650 via Sprint. With mine, if I don't lose the connection between the two within the first two minutes, I won't lose it at all.

Default bluetooth loses connection

I have the same problem - treo headset loses connection with the Treo 650 intermittently, usually after 1/2 hour. Thought is was a faulty headset.

Then I bought a bluetooth GPS - GlobalSat BT-338. It too loses connection after some 20 minutes / half hour. This GPS basically broadcasts "you are here" continuously after making the initial connection, but is designed to switch off after a short time when no signal from the Treo to save the battery. It is absolutely brilliant when it works (using PathAway software on the Treo). It is really fustrating when the connection is lost, the track log stops, so I need to continuously check there is still a connection present to ensure a decent continuous track log (to upload and view on GPS map software later to review the trip / import into Google Earth).

So the headset is innocent, the problem lies with the Treo. I love the Treo as a PDA / phone, but could not recommend it to anyone wanting to use bluetooth assessories.
Using latest software Treo650-1.20
