bluetooth sync reboot - Treo Forums

I set up the treo 650 to hot sync via bluetooth. If I complete a sync or if I cancle a hot sync in the middle it will reboot my treo. Whats up with that? Why does it do that? Does anybody else have this problem or have any idea how I can stop it from doing that?

I'm not sure that I have any idea how to stop it but I can assure you that it is not normal. I bt hot sync all of the time and my Treo never resets like yours is.

You might have a corupted data base or offending app that is causing your Treo to reset during a bt hot sync. If you hot sync with the standard hot sync cable does it work okay?

I was under the impression that synching with BT is slower than with the cable. is that not true? If so, why do it?

No, it does not reset with a cable. You are probably right about an application causing the problemI like not having to plug in the cable. I like being able to hit button and let it go.

Yes, I've been syncing with Bluetooth for sometime now. My god, is it SLOW! I've given up and will buy a Seido retractable s&c cable.

I'm actually only able to synch via Bluetooth now. My company owns 2 650s and both cables went bad. Don't ask me how. I now have replacement devices -- yes, both of them. They now synch fine with Bluetooth but not with cables.

The initial synch was very slow, or so it seemed, but now it doesn't seem that bad.
