Bluetooth Version

The specs list the Pre to have bluetooth version 2.1. What I want to know is, willl they make it possible to upgrade to version 3.0 when it comes out. Bluetooth version 3.0 will connect to Wi-Fi and have ultra fast speed. I hope the software will evolve with updates for it.:cool:

Unfortunately no. When bluetooth 3.0 comes out, it will actually require new hardware. It will up the transfer speeds to 480 megabits per second (if really close) or 100 megabits per second from farther, and will run somewhere in the 6-9 Ghz spectrum.

I read in a local spanish media that it will be release in April 21th v 3.0
