    Hi Mike-
I've been using the JX10 recently as I just finished writing a review for the site. I didn't experience any issue with it disconnecting from the Treo.

Just to understand, you are powering up the JX10 and it's not being recognized by the Treo? Correct?

Let me know what's happening and I'll see if I can duplicate with the JX10/700w.

    I'm having the same problem.

    I am using a new 700wx with a Plantronics Discovery 640 headset.

For some reason, the check boxes for bluetooth won't stay checked to keep bluetooth on.

On the phone, I get the bluetooth icon, but it just stays white.

What gives? Is there an update somewhere that I need to get for this to stay on?

I have a somewhat different issue...I'm using the Jabra 500v that I reviewed recently and I have issues re-connecting. I am on a 700p and it connects fine at the first connection. No problems whatsoever. However, if I ever lose connection (leave the room, leave it in the car while getting gas, etc.) I then turn the headset off and then back on. My Treo shows that it's connected to the headset, but no calls will be routed to the headset. I have to soft reset the Treo and then turn it back on with the headset off. Once it's reset, I can turn the headset back on and it's like I connected the first time. It's a little frustrating, but I believe it's a lack of functionality with the Treo...it's not the Bluetooth headsets. (Every headset I've gone through works PERFECTLY with my wife's RAZR.)

I have a similiar problem. I use the Platronics Voyager 510 with the Treo 700wx, ( I have the Treo for 3 days so I'm still figuring it out) and it connects, but if it stays on without being on a call, it will disconnect. Anyone know how to reconnect it without turning it off and turning it back on, or how to keep it from disconnecting? Thanks

Default Any difference noticeable from 250v to 500v?

I have been having similar problems with a 250v and my 680- is there a quality difference with the 500? I seem to be able to hear others fine but people tell me they have a very hard time hearing me, particularly on voicemail messages I leave. All advice gratefully accepted.

I have a Treo 650 with Cingular service. My Jabra jX10 bluetooth problem is after a short period of time it goes to sleep mode. Then when I receive a call it does not wake up and pick it up. Even if i tap the answer button. Is there a way to make it not go to sleep mode. I never have that problem with my Plantronics 330.

I did not discover this thread before i posted (below) in the Treo 700w forum. I have to believe that it was a recent software "upgrade" that got me. Interesting to see the prob is ancient (and no one has posted a fix).

Recurring problem with old and new headset.
    <Added:> Treo 700w in use 24 mo w-no prob -- new problem ~ 2 weeks old

I can establish pairing - works fine.
I leave it alone (connected) for < 1 hr and I find that Treo "Turn Bluetooth On" and "Make this device discoverable..." are now unchecked ... and will not stay checked.

After pairing, I also can turn off the headset and then back on ... Treo has lost itself again. Will not connect (check boxes go unchecked and will not stay checked).

Only recourse is to reset (soft works for this) and re-pair ... which is not an acceptable 'repair'

    Any other experience or suggestions.
(Jabra BT250 and Jabra 2020 are the headsets being used).
