Default Can a Treo 650 use two bluetooth devices at once?

It doesn't appear that it can, but I was wondering if anyone knows for sure. I use my Treo with my car kit without a problem, but I just got a bluetooth GPS for my Treo and it seems as though I have to turn off my car kit in order for the GPS device to be found.

    Any insight anyone?

    Thanks!

    Interesting.

I was going to post a similar question. I have noticed some conflicts between my Treo BT headset and a ThinkOutside BT keyboard. It seems that whenever I use the keyboard, I have to specifically go into the keyboard app to "connect" (not really a pairing process). If I subsequently use the headset, I have problems getting it to connect. I haven't figured a definitive sequence of actions to get it working but disconnecting the keyboard (via the keyboard app) seems to work most of the time.

This is a real pain. If I forget to fix this up after using the keyboard and I receive a call, the BT headset does not connect and I'm forced to take the call the old fashioned way (holding the phone to my ear or speakerphone).

If anyone has similar problems or solutions (preferred) please let me know.

I am after the same information. I want to use the GPS on my motorcycle, and link to my helmet intercom using bluetooth. TomTom Navigator 5 seemed just the ticket, particualy with its Bluetooth GPS.

I spoke to the Bluetooth SIG, who says that it should work. Checked with TomTom and was told no (they then tried to sell me a Rider at GBP 600!

Theoretically a Bluetooth device should talk to up to 8 others (I think!)

Anyone else got a line on this? Trying to get an answer from PalmOne is difficult.

    Default Multiple BT at once

I have been able to use my BT Headset and transfer info via BT between devices. This seems to be the case when I am NOT in a call. When in a call it seems that the BT headset dominates the unit.

Everything I've read says that you can't be connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. I haven't read about anyone successfully connecting to both a GPS receiver and headset at the same time.
