Can't Do Bluetooth Transfer From Treo 700w to Red MotoRazr
Both phones are Bluetooth capable. They have been pared. A partnership has been set up on the Treo 700w so it recognizes the MRazr. But I can't get it to transfer a contact formthe Treo to the MRazr. I can't even do one contact at a time. I thought that the whole idea of Bluetooth was so you could do things like this - transfer one or more contacts. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this Bluetooth actually work??

The problem with phonebook/contact transfer is each phone manufacturer has their own ideas about data formatting. If you were going treo to treo, it would work. you may have to fool it by making a 'notepad' file of the addresses and see if you can send that file to the razr and open it. Next solution would be use a computer and software to copy data from one setup to the other.

I have tried to do the same thing with my familys razers phone. Same basic results. Sprint or motorola limited what files could be transferred in the razers program. My treo works with other phones and computers via bluetooth but not razer phones. The sprint rep had a razor he bought on ebay and he could bluetooth ringtones etc.. I can't.......as far as the address book coping to notepad I have not tried that...I think the treo could copy but not the other phone unless it is a pda.
