Keeping on the BT side-topic (Chris if you are really bored and see this, this might be a good thread to split):
The question is whether I'm bored enough to find out "how to split a thread".

The last time I tried merging threads it ended very ugly. Too bad vBulletin forum software doesn't come with a handbook.

It seems like BT headsets are a perfect example of YMMV. For just about any headset on the market, you can find posts/reviews praising it, and an equal number of comments declaring it worthless. Hopefully things will only improve, Bluetooth is still a fairly new technology.
I still have an old StarTac in storage somewhere myself. It's funny how old-fashioned something can seem, when it was the ultimate cell phone not that many years ago.

Each post should have a checkbox if you have moderation rights, and down at the bottom of the page, there's a Moderation combo box, with one of the options being Move Posts. Then you just need to name a new thread to put the posts in.

I donated mine a few years back - but I remember when that phone came out. That was an amazing phone - both in size and quality. If I recall correctly, it was a Treo 180 that I moved to. Quite a difference in size and quality. I had T-Mobile service with my first Treo and it wasn't so hot.

Ahhhhh.... I saw the Move posts, but didn't know about creating the new thread to put them in. I'll test it out. Thanks for the help.

Thread split in multiple places and moved into new home -- Discussion on various Bluetooth headsets.

Thanks Kreth. Not only for the vBulletin tip, but for your continuing contributions to the forums. I've enjoyed your posts. Read your post about a review. I'll send you a PM tomorrow.

You're welcome for the vB tip. I mod on a martial arts forum that uses the same software. As for the posts, I just love the way communities like this develop on the Internet and bring together people with common interests. In the case of the Treo, they're still a pretty rare breed here in upstate New Yawk, so it's fun to chat with other people who know what I'm talking about.
