headset & GPS together with bluetooth?

I was curious if anyone has tried this before I spend the money: I just purchased a TomTom Navigator package for my Treo but am a little bummed that I cant use my bluetooth headest at the same time. I read somewhere that you could pair the Plantronics 640 headset to more than one device at a time. I've seen bluetooth adaptors that plug into the headset jack of a phone (Jabra A210), could I pair a 640 to one of those and my Treo so that when my treo is using the GPS reciever it will work with the adaptor plugged into the phone? Any thoughts?

That should work, but it wouldn't be quite the same. In the case that you're using the Bluetooth adapter, the Bluetooth connection is purely just providing wireless headset connection. So, I don't think the button functions of the headset to answer a call would work. I could be wrong though.
