I have a question..... I have tomtom 5 on my treo 650, I want to add a different voice. Do I have to reinstall the whole thing? I hate to do that because it was so hard to get it installed. Also, where can we go to get third party voices?
Thank you

You should be able install more voices from the CD installer. Additional voices are available at TomTom. I haven't purchased any new voices, but was tempted to get John Cleese.
Hope this helps.

TomTom
This thread may be too old to pick up on this, but previous posts have pertinent references to my problem. I have a Verizon 650 with TomTom 5 on a card in the slot. I am suddenly having a problem on synch whereby it goes through the whole routine and ends with the proverbial "Backing up CurrentMap.dat" that goes on and on and on....until I stop it with a Control/Alt/Delete and cancel on the phone.
When I check the phone, it would appear that the changes to calender, contacts, etc. have been updated, so that is ok. But, the Log indicates no changes. I do not see any conduit issues, but I am also not sure that I am looking at everything - or perhaps, there is something missing, ergo, a problem.
TomTom seems to work ok, the phone seems to work ok - not sure why we are going into the undless CurrentMap.dat update on the synch. Is it something that might be cleared up with the upgrade to 6? or will it just get worse? I have done hard and soft resets which appear to do what they are supposed to do and the restorations seem to be fine, but they are restoring for older and older dates as I turn over days on the calender. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated.
