JABRA BT250 Bluetooth headset will NOT work with my new 650... I can sync the device fine... the Treo sees it and I can switch over to the Jabra for calls. I can HEAR a caller, but they cannot hear me. I tried resetting the Jabra, and re-synching it to the Treo without success. Jabra was then synched to a Sony Ericson cell phone and worked fine (kind of an embarrassment for me and my super-phone.) Perhaps there are updates for Bluetooth functionality? I haven't seen any though... Help?

Thanks for the reply... Early on in my venture, I did use Jabra's 'resetting' method for both the Jabra and the Treo. After your post I decided to try it again for good measure. 'Reset' the BT250 about 10 times as a mater of fact, then reset the Treo and re-paired the devices as suggested by Jabra. No luck. I was convinced the Jabra was broken until my father in law synched it with his Ericson cell phone in seconds flat, and the mic worked fine. Weird! This kind of sux though, as I have a Sandisk WiFi SD card and this Jabra BT250 and NEITHER of them work. The only thing I managed to get working on this damnable Treo is the ATARI RETRO game pack... so at least I have 'PONG.'
You can't use the SanDisk SD Wifi card with the Treo anyways. Never have been compatible and probably never will. As far as your BT250 pairing, there is no reason why it should pair. There must be something that you are not doing right. Have you tried pairing another BT headset with the Treo?

Yea... this I know. I was hoping that shadowmite's hack (which works for the PalmOne WiFi card) would work for the Sandisk. The Treo's WiFi functionality is a great disappointment to me. If I knew that Palm was going to suck up to wireless phone providers and disable WiFi capability so users are stuck paying for bloated 'data plans,' I may not have purchased this Treo in the first place. Shadowmite proved that WiFi card compatibility is easily achieved and that Palm isn’t interested.
As for the Jabra, I'm at a loss. You're right, it should work. But there is nothing complex about pairing bluetooth devices. It was quite embarrassing, I must say, when my father-in-law pulled out a busted up Ericson, paired the Jabra, and made a successful call. I almost threw my Treo in the toilet... This thing has been a BIG disappointment (though I still love it.) Such is life…
I too, have the BT250v. What a piece of garbage! I would not recommend it to anyone using the Treo. Here's a few problems that I've experienced with it:
1. Trouble pairing
2. Having to re-pair all of the time
3. Dropped calls
4. Missed calls (could not answer from headset)
5. Poor reception (must be very close to phone)
6. Poor audio quality
7. Poor voice quality (per user on other end)
The only good thing I can say about the BT250v is the it is very comfortable and has great volume. I jst picked up a new SE HBH-662. Hope it works out better.
Don't mean to disappoint you but you may want to try another headset. There are several products out there that have been given good reviews when used with the Treo. But as we all know, the problem lies inherently with the Treo itself. P1 really needs to work out a patch to clear up the BT issues on the Treo.
I just received the 662 today (Got it for $45.00 on ebay, brand new in the box). I've only tested the functionality and audio quality so far. The name thing didn't seem to work, even when calling from my wife's phone which is in my contacts list on my Treo. The number shows but no name. Oh, well. I bought it primarily because of the numerous good reviews I have read on the overall quality. Hope this helps.
