Default Jabra JX10 Bluetooth Headset with DSP

Has anyone had the chance to test the Jabra JX10 out? It has the features of the Palm (CALL WAITING!!!) but looks pretty trick. It has the DSP and auto volume adjust like the Sony Ericsson HBH 610??? Could we possibly have a contender for the "best"?

Info: "Among others, it is the only headset aside from Palm’s Wireless Headset with which all call features can be used and that can be charged via both wall and USB."

Let me know...

In the end, it didn't quite pass muster. There's a Reviews section on this site that has user feedback, like mine. I also wrote a comparison to the Palm and a Plantronics headset in the Bluetooth forum, where you should generally look for this kind of information.

A little late to the party on this topic, but I've been using this as my everyday headset as I recently reviewed it. The headset sounds great, volume controls adjust the Treo volume and it connects quite well. The dock is also a nice plus -- because the headset has a "home" in my office for charging. All good. However, I find the ear hook to be "flimsy". I'm a little rough on my headsets. I put them in my pocket, etc. With the Jabra JX10, I usually pull it out in two pieces and have to fiddle around to reassemble it. You can read my full JX10 review on the site.

Default Poor Performance with Jabra JX-10

Well, I eagerly awaited the arrival of my JX-10 and I'm very dissapointed. I let it charge overnight. Paired it the next morning and set everthing up right. I had very poor reception unless holding my Treo 650 (Sprint) next to the headset. Pretty much defeats the purpose of wearing a wireless headset! If the Treo is greater than 2 feet away all I get is very loud cracking and then the call is dropped. It definately looks "cooler" than most BT headsets. I wish I could say I had the same results as the other reviewers but unfortunately this was not the case. I am attempting to send it back and will try something else. I wish there was one headset that everyone consistently says" works great, no crackles, good range from the phone." Any suggestions? I've seen lots of reviews saying the HBH-662 and Scala-500 work good but then again, many have the same trouble? I am begining to think that the Treo is the problem.

If you have the time, please add your review of the JX-10 here on the site. I've replied to your post about the other headsets in another thread. You can also simply rate the product too...

Thanks.
