I heard the 29th on a couple other sites.....

If so I might just go ahead and get it from there nad ship the other back and get the credit for it...

Chris, I cant seem to get past the Shipping stage of ordering.
In addition, it goes to TreoCentral. I assume its the same company?

I've been playing this "they're due in in two weeks" game with TomTom and various dealers now since last March. The delivery date is always just about two weeks away, and when you get there, and wait a few days, nothing has happened. You query (either TomTom or one of the distributors) and get another carrot dangled about two weeks in front of you. . . "sorry for the delay, we are shipping on the [insert date two weeks hence]." And then a repeat, again, and agaion, and again. I'm not exaggerating, this has been a bi-monthly occurance since mid-Spring.

I've been trying to find information on whether or not I could use my Treo 650 and the TomTom Navigator 5 via Bluetooth while also having my Treo paired to my Dodge UConnect BT handsfree system. It looks like if your phone rings while navigating, you can answer the phone via a BT headset, does anyone know if a handsfree kit will work the same way? I don't want to buy the TomTom system if I can't use my UConnect system.

Yes, you can answer the phone - but it disconnects the TomTom GPS from the Treo. So, you have to re-iniate (if that's the word) the connection between the two after the call. Not difficult, but you will not be able to receive directions from the TomTom while taking a call. Now, regarding your handsfree kit, I'm not sure. I would think that you're handsfree is no different than my handset. It's just one Bluetooth device taking over for another? I'm going to be testing out the Supertooth II next week and I'll let you know how that works with the TomTom.

You might also want to send a quick email to the TomTom Support Team. (it's not so quick, you have to sign-in, user their support section and then you can choose to send an email).

Okay I recieved the Tom Tom this morning and it was the right one!!

Maybe they had the Old ones and I was lucky enough to be given the new one or whatever but I now can set it all up without having the hassle of sending one back and waiting for another.....

I might take a road trip this weekend just to use it.....Drive all night till i run out of gas not looking at signs or ramps or anything then turn around and find my way back....LOL!

I think I will take a wired headset so I don't have to worry about re-establishing a connection between the two after calls.....plus I might be killing time on a call and get myself lost even more!
