Since this question is a YEAR old... I recently got the H9 (updated H5), and here's my review...
1. You MUST like the in-ear type of headset...Even with the smallest rubber eartip attached, it's like wearing an earplug. To fit well, and stay in place, you really have to insert it a "little deep"... I've used the Samsung WEP-200 in-ear type, and the Plantronics 340, and the H9 goes in even deeper than the 340.
2. Sound quality gets gets 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5...I get the occasional "I can't hear you" from callers, but I tend to think it's on their end... Incoming sound rates 4 or 4.5 stars... There is the occasional scratchiness when in use, but I don't know if this is phone-related or headset-related, since I haven't had the chance to use it with a non-Treo phone yet...
3. NOW FOR THE DRAWBACK.... Following the initial pairing, after replacing the headset in the charger, the headset shifts to AUTO-ANSWER... With my 650, I get 1 ring, a pause, 1 headset beep, then it answers... This is NOT a good thing.... I spent nearly 45min w/ a bottom level MOTO tech (in Costa Rica), trying to find a solution ( I hate when I know more than the service tech does).... He tried blaming it on the phone, which DOES NOT auto-answer with EVERY OTHER bluetooth headset I have (MOTO H700, H3, Samsung WEP-200, Plantronics 340, Cardo 500), saying the BT version is incompatible (it's all the same), then telling me to call Palm or Sprint about this...GRRRrrrrrr...
4. The charger/recharger unit is a bit of an enigma... It has the mini-USB type plug, but you can't charge it from a PC port...Because of the battery size/short life span, MOTO recommends you keep the unit w/ you to top the battery off if the headset gets low... The bad part of this is if you forget/lose the base unit, you're screwed.
Again, since I haven't had the chance to try the H9 with another phone yet (gonna try it w/ a MOTO phone this weekend), I don't know if this is a Treo specific problem, or a MOTO problem....
My bottom line opinion for this headset is (beside the auto-answer issue), I like this headset, but it's not for everyone...Given the $150 retail pricetag (I paid $100 on sale), you better be sure this unit is for you... It DOES get noticed by Bluetook lookers like myself...
The next headset I'm going to try is the Jawbone, which I have high expectations on....

I demo'd the headset, it feels like it's poking your brain and the sound quality is overrated.
