Motorola h700 question??
I was given a Motorola h700 headset without a charger, manual or anything. It is BRAND NEW, but the store couldnt sell it cause of the no charger or manual. So my friend works there and he just gave me the headset itself.
Okay, now my question is... will any h700 charger work with this headset?? Also, will it still connect with my Treo 650??
Last thing... does anyone know of something I can download a manual and quick setup software??
Thanks in advance!

Good luck getting yours to work I am trying now on a 650 to get it to work and no luck. I posted a question to some of the experts on this forum today to see if someone can help us out

I have a H700 and it pairs with the 650 and the 700p and 700w and does not work with either of them. My Motorola HS850 works well. Ben

I have an H700 (as well as several other Bluetooth headsets) which I use with a Treo 700p. It works flawlessly, sound quality is good, and it is comfortable and convenient.
To answer the earlier question in this thread -- if you did not get a charger with yours, you can use a USB-to-mini-USB cable and charge it directly from a USB port on your computer.
Here's how to put it into pairing mode, which it will do automatically if it is new/unpaired but which you have to do manually if it has ever been paired before:
1. charge fully, unplug from charging source
2. fold boom IN to turn power off if it is on
3. press talk button (with power off) until LED glows steady purple
4. while light is still purple, release talk button and fold boom out to turn power on
5. If you have done this successfully, the purple light stays on and you are in pairing mode.
6. The passcode is 0000 (as it is for every other Bluetooth headset!).
Any questions?

I just got an H700 and it works awesome. I tried two different Jabra headsets and they didn't work out very well. The H700 is sweet. I can hear people great and they hear me great.

H700 static
:frown: I have an H700 with a 700W. I always have a lot of static and it drops its connection with the Treo regularly. Anybody have any suggestions for making it work better?
