Really need to know about Bluetooth

I've already posted a thread but I didn't get any answer... but I REALLY need some pieces of advice.
I'm a Treo650 user (with Orange France).

The problem is: the bluetooth connection is intempestively set to "sleep" or "passive" what means that I can use my built-in carkit (Parrot) for example only when receiving call. I can't make any call from the carkit. I also cannot send any file to any other Bluetooth device...

Does anyone have the same problems? Does anyone have any advice or Hack or solution for that?

Just a hunch, but do you have the Treo 650 Carkit Update from PalmOne ?

I've already seen those possible update. But aren't they meant only for Cingular or Sprint users?

My father actually tried it but it doesn't work, for the smartphone is simlocked for Orange Fr users. So the question is: if I unlock the sim, do you think it may work, knowing the carkit is available for Sprint user and says that for 'unlocked GSM' no upgrade is needed?
