sending with bluetooth
I sync one of my computers with blue tooth (works great) and have downloaded audio book from an apple with bluetooth.
But I have tried to send a pic or mp3 to other phones. I have tried to bluetooth with a blade, katanna, and two motorazers all phones including mine are sprint phones. The devices find and connect then the sending gets an error message and stops.
Anybody having any luck with this?
I found out that the Katanna does not use mp3s but the pics???

I have done pics with other Treos - what error message? it is very possible that the device the pic may be going to does not have sufficient storage.

I think I am doing something wrong in the bluetooth. I have tried to send even to blade to razr or Katanna to katanna and get the same message. It shows connected and even shows trandferring data then the message unable to send !!

It gets the message either way(sending or receiving). My son thinks it is something sprint won't let you do....but you should be able to send the stuff. No problem pc to treo just treo to other phones.

My son (man am I tired of quoting him) said from reading the net that you can send from a laptop to the treo because of the operating system. The other phones will not accept them through bluetooth. He sent a ringtone to an alltel razor with his laptop and it worked. He then tried same file with my daughters razor and it would not accept those file types.
I do not know the phones that you used. Are they PDAs?

I posted this somewhere???? But are the phones you mentioned pdas?? My son has bluetoothed files to an alltel razor and then tried a sprint razor. The alltel will work the sprint will not.

His apple will send it to the treo and other non sprint devices. I just tried to send a ringtone to my xp pc and got the same unable to send cr-p. I am going to try a pic next.
Won't send pic either.

apple has it built in and it will send stuff to treo. The pc is a usb bluetooth and doesn't send.
Treo will send to apple. Can send to treo from pc (computer was not set to discover). Still cannot send treo to pc????
