    Default Treo 650 to computer to internet

    My palm 650 and Windows XP laptop computer both have Bluetooth. My 650 connects to the internet with Alltel. I work one day a week where I do not have internet connectivity from my computer.

    Is there a step by step way to log on to the internet with my treo, connect via bluetooth to my laptop, and gain access to the internet by this connection.

    I have tried everything I can think of to make this work, but it is too far out of my knowledge base for me to know what I am doing.

    I suspect you can do it, but using the bluetooth would be painfully slow. You would be MUCH better off tethering your phone to your PC using your sync cable. There are several methods of using a tethered phone as your modem.

    I believe there are some free solutions, but the most popular software to enable this seems to be PDAnet. Check this link for example:
