Centro and AT&T

Is it true that Sprint has a 90 day lock on the Centro?
If this is true than a GSM Centro should be available, via ATT and Tmobile, within a month.

Anyone has info on this topic?

I've seen articles stating February 18 is the release date. I spoke to my AT&T store this morning and they are being kept in the dark, though they said it's imminent.
