    Curious how the coverage is in the NYC area. I'm looking to get my wife up and running w/ a new phone. If I choose Cingular and it's sub-par, then I'll probably never hear the end of it.

    Sorry it took so long to reply... Never really look at this section. The Cingular service and coverage in NYC is SLAMMIN'! I ported 4 Verizon numbers over to Cingular since the AT&T acquistion and haven't looked back.
