    Exclamation XpressMail

Sorry my first post to this forum is negative but a comment about XpressMail. Cingular Wireless (and their customers) really got hosed by this so called software. In all my experience with cell phone email programs, and I have supported all of them, this is the worst possible example of pure crap. I must say it’s kind of interesting to push the mail icon on the phone to see what shows up. Sometimes it’s current mail sometimes its mail from March and a lot of the time there is no mail at all. Thankfully the techs at Cingular are honest and helpful and have pointed me in a direction away from XpresssMail and Versa mail. Oh and how about the calendar and contact utilities. There’re kidding right?

Default which email client is the best?

So if they steered you away form the pre-installed email apps, then which one did you end up with? I just want to check my gmail account. Thanks!

    Default Goodlink

I needed the full fuction of Outlook and am testing Goodlink (good.com) for me and my users. The product is pricy but pretty amazing and I'm sure we will become users.

Default Xpressmail -- from 13 months ago!

I just got my Treo and have been wondering if something was wrong with my setup. My Xpressmail kept giving me e-mail (from my gmail account) from 13 monhs ago!

I'll look into the other names you mentioned... Thanks for the lead.

How does one delete Xpressmail from the phone? I tried and I still get the icon on the menu.

I'm pretty sure that there's a portion of it in the ROM on the Cingular Treos so I think you're stuck with it. It's not the entire app though. It's on mine and when activated gives the option to Install Now or Learn More.
Typos are there for those that look for them. I try to do something for everybody.
