Also the gaming part... it's not much of a big deal it's likewise converting some Xbox LIVE Arcade games to be compatible with the Palm Pre and Palm Uon and some other user created games not all of the games will be Xbox LIVE games also I don't think they will be free though but I'm sure they won't cost that much (Well the premium ones will most likely cost at most $9.99 but IDK that's my guess cause Xbox LIVE Arcade games are pretty fun and if you play them on your phone it will be awesome (vs iPhones games even though they have a library of 50,000 apps most of them suck well in my opinion)
The gaming part is nice but it's not as big of an impact that you think it will be (Well in my opinion cause Xbox LIVE Arcade games are fun and nice but they're not really much of a game though they are still better than iPhone games)

OK um new information for Palm Pre
A new revision will be released soon featuring increased storage (I don't know how much but I'm guessing around 16GB-32GB), more durable and quality hardware, and overclocked processor
It's just a small update to the Palm Pre it's still the Palm Pre but it has a bit of improvements (You won't really be able to tell which one is the original if you compared them side by side)
It's like the iPod Classic... The original to the 1st revision it didn't really have that much changes it just got the slimmer profile and storage of 120GB
Also it may incorporate a better camera but then again it might not I don't know (Cause it's just a revision)

My wishlist for the Palm Pre 2
I do love my Palm Pre, but I would love it if somehow they could keep the same or at least a similar form factor with a much better and easier to type on QWERTY keyboard. Also, a dedicated camera button would make it so much easier to make use of the great camera that it comes with. Capability to record video would also be great, and I'm not sure if they could just have a later software update that would add that capability. A dedicated speaker phone button would be good as well. The Touchstone ready battery cover idea would be great-save us some money for once Palm! I think the only other thing I would ask for is the option of having an onscreen keyboard and a mini SD card slot to at least give us the option of adding more memory if we would like. Other than those requests, I am more than satisfied with my Pre! I can't wait until the next firmware update so any sluggishness that the WebOs has can be ironed out.

As with Touchstone people will still have to buy the Touchstone charger but the new refresh of the Palm Pre and the Palm Uon will have Touchstone ready battery covers...

Here are some things the Pre really needs, so it can be a good business phone:
1. Calendar event search.
2. Time/date stamp.
3. List View for memos.
I had all of these features in my Palm Treo 650, so I'm disappointed the WebOS didn't have these.

Well auxpowerunit
webOS 1.5 update adds Calander event search but I don't know if they'll add the other features
-
Palm plans to have webOS 1.5 reenable syncing with iTunes 9
Also Palm might be changing their website by a bit and implementing Microsoft's Silverlight technology so users can interact with it in real-time
A new program might be created for Palm webOS users so they have a app that manages all their stuff
Also does anyone agree with me that Palm Eos sounds better than Palm Pixi
-
Also a few new apps will be released
Palm has a goal to have around 1500 apps by the end of 2009

The refresh of the Palm Pre might be available in both GSM and CDMA versions
Most likely the if the Palm Pre does come out available in a GSM version it will most likely be for the T-Mobile Network (I would prefer it)
Also the Palm Pre may turn out to not be available for Verizon Wireless because of the license agreement... Verizon wants to change a couple of features including limiting customization features, reducing RAM by a bit, and they might make the Palm Pre have a slower processor. Also they want to disable the GPS features and have it installed with VZ Navigator and make the Pre use the Get It Now app store instead of the official Palm app store. This is to cut costs in making the Pre and allow Verizon to get more profit (They always do this in most phones)
But Palm thinks it will make the phone look worse and bring the phone down as a whole.
But Verizon Wireless really is a reliable network but they are known for reducing features in phones when it comes ported to them (Just look at the other ported phones)
But what do you think guys do you think Palm should agree with the license agreement and downgrade the Pre a bit (only for the Verizon Wireless network)
Also they think that if they downgrade the Pre for the VZ Network it will decrease popularity by a bit (cause VZ has a large number of subscribers) cause it might make the phone more prone to crashing and getting very slow
-
NO do not go with VZ, they always cripple there phones, instead just stay with Sprint and maybe go to AT&T, the better the Pre becomes themore will join Sprint and get Pre, i think the faster Palm rolls out the updates and fixes major flows and some bugs and make some solid enhancements people will jump at the chance to get the Pre. And this is a win win for Sprint and Palm.
Pre so easy to use even a caveman can use it.
