Anyone need a Treo 700 without contract for under $600????

Hey im selling my treo 700 for the simple fact that i was lied to about the PDA plan from the representatives themselves and they even admitted to making a mistake but to correct the mistake ill be paying about an extra $20 additional to my usual bill. So if anyone is interested in getting one for around 550-575 let me know thank you. If this type of posts is not allowed please excuse me i apologize

buy.com was, till recently selling it for $99 (now for $299)...so why would one buy it for anything less than that?

we have to sign the contract anyway with verizon

if you are interested less than this do let me know...i can buy it immediately if it is brand new

If they made a mistake, and you signed on the line, then they will hold you liable (sorry, its really that plan, and legal).

However, you can file a complaint with VZW's Business Division as well as the BBC towards the retailer that sold it to you and possibly you would see some retribution for what happened to you.

As for the previous poster's statement, that $99 deal only applies for new VZW customers, and does not help any who already are on VZW. Your price is still a bit high, but I am sure that given enough time, you will have a taker or two.

thats incorrect..i know two individuals who got the $99 deal on existing vzw numbers provided they extended their contract by two years.

Its not BBC..thats BBB.

Everyone thanks for the feedback.. The only reason i have the price like that is because if you buy a treo without contract from verizon its like 699

no no thats not correct. i would still need a contract. What happens is as follows. if i bought it from say buy.com for $99 and terminated it in say 6 months, you would pay $175. that totals..275$ in all. you should ask for less than this figure and expect to get a fair deal.

I tried that shpiel and got nowhere with the phone rep or the instore reps i spoke with
