    Default Best free IMAP provider you can suggest?

    Hey everyone,

    I used to use .Mac when I worked at Apple. It's great for IMAP worked really well on the Treo, and didn't have a web mail full of ads and so on. My account expired and I really don't feel like paying $150cad for another account just for mail. I was trying AOL but like every single email address is taken there and I really hate to have a number in my account. I'd prefer something mainstream that people recognize, but doesn't matter. Are there any that are reliable and good for mail someone can recommend?
