 |  Can you buy and use prepaid minutes for all Treo 650 funcitons? Hi. I didn't have or want a cell phone. A friend gave me an extra Kyocera Smartphone (palm os) which I have to come to love. I do not subscribe to a plan; I prepay minutes. If I buy a Treo 650 without a plan subscription, can I buy prepaid minutes for it, and will they cover the email and web functions of the Treo? |

  | Hi Ricko, I do not think that prepay minutes are a problem. I put a SIM card which is prepaid and made a call. It worked. As for theemail and web functions? Cingular says you can use their MediaNet on any phone, but I do not know if that is true of their prepaid. I am not in a position to try, but by Sunday afternoon I will be able too.
