Default Cleaning the screen of your Treo?

What do you use to clean the screen of your Treo 650? I haven't cleaned mine with anything other than my 100% cotton t-shirt.

I use a lens cloth -- same thing I use to clean my camera lens.

I guess the best thing would be some type of microfiber cloth.

......and I'm sure that a 100% cotton t-shirt will also do the trick.

Do you use any Windex or anything?

I use a lense cleaning micro fiber cloth and an awesome solution called "Brillianize".

Get the #8 bottle if your interested, it will last a long time. You can probably find it locally as well in any glass or mirror speciality store.

No, my 100% cotton t-shirt didn't clean it too well.

the best I've found is a microfiber cloth.
if there's some scratch, use Displex or such solution for handphones (is it the good word? excuse my poor english :/ )
I tried some toothpaste, it's quiet good and the pda smells good

I'll ask my dentist

of course, but it's cheaper and everyone should have some at home
and it works against small scratches

I wouldn't suggest applying anything especially Windex on the glass. I usually give a bit of my breath and wipe with a lens cloth. Works fine.

As for toothpaste, it's abrasive and eventually, you will create small scratches on the glass which may cause digitizer detection problems in the long term. I only use toothpaste on badly scratched CDs to make it readable. But toothpaste is abrasive and isn't a good idea.

I only really clean my screen with the screen protector on it. Before I apply a new one I use a pda cloth to wipe the screen.

If you use toothpaste to clean the screen, just make sure that you don't use any of those with baking soda in it. If it feels harsh in your mouth I'm sure that it will scratch the screen. Just my two cents!
