    Default DiffreŽnce between 600 -> 650

    :confused:

    I was think of buying the 600 and see now that their is the new 650.
    What are the main differences, are they worth the price difference?
    I think of something which you just can't just read in the datasheets.

    Thanks

    The main differences between the Treo 650 and the Treo 600 are:
    • Treo 650 has bluetooth
    • Treo 650 has a hi-resolution screen
    • Treo 650 keyboard has bigger keys
    • Treo 650 has a faster processor (not sure if the speed difference is apparent)
    • Treo 650 has built-in MP3 player

    • Treo 600 is less expensive
    • Treo 600 is available through Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Cingular
    • Treo 600 has the same basic functionality
    Those are the major differences. I would say the biggest differences are bluetooth and the hi-resolution screen. If those aren't improtant, then the 600 is perfect.

    Good luck with your decision.

    With the hi-res screen, you are able to see 4 times as much and colors are more vibrant and brighter in general. Holding the two models side by side is night and day, basically.

    The web browser (Blazer) loaded on the 600 is an older version from the 650 version I believe. I know that the controls are at the top instead of the bottom and it seems to support different web standards. At work, I have yet to have enough time with the 600 to pinpoint what those are, but we're having significant problems with the 600 in my web application development that we aren't seeing with the 650.

    Sprint sold me my 650 for the full grip, but thats the pain of being halfway through your contract.
