Have you even looked at your manual? Did you run the setup CD that should have come with your Treo? Are you looking to do wireless sync or a cabled sync?

    Which Treo did you buy?

The installation CD should walk you through exactly what to do.

I'm actually tech support for Verizon and I never knew how to set up hotsync with outlook. They never told me how to do it but I still have to troubleshoot the issue. I was just wonder for self education. please help if you know how? we don't have a emulator or training on it so I have no clue.

I find this difficult to understand. The Verizon website does not have a link to the manual? No chance of visiting Palm.com?

You can download the desktop at http://www.palm.com/us/support/downl...n_desktop.html. During the installation select the option to sync with Outlook.

The Palm site provides extensive information in their help files.

This even sounds like a stretch for Verizon. Makes me want to call for support though.

    Too bad I have Sprint!

I work through an outsourced company for Verizon. We know what it is but we never did it in training. We only did Palm Desktop. Most of the things we learned at work was on the floor though experience. I've been working there for 6 months now and I like it.

Okay, so it has been 13 days since you first posted. Have you bothered to read the manual on Palm's site or even look at the Palm website? Geeeeez.....

    The quick version:
Place the CD that comes with the Treo in the PC it will sync with. The setup screen appears. Follow the install prompts and during the install you will be offered the option of syncing with Palm Desktop or Outlook. Choose Outlook and the proper conduits will be installed. Once the installation is completed future syncs will be with Outlook automagically.

To change back to sync with Palm in the future the CD is needed and the main screen that pops up when the CD is inserted will have a selection available to change from one sync method to the other.

Here is a link to Palm's site that can provide more details. Downloads of the PD and HotSync Manager are available. There are differences from device to device, Vista to XP, Mac, ActiveSync, Exchange Servers, etc. You really should take a look if you are supposed to be offering Verizon support. You might even look at Verizon's site.

    Just a thought....
