Default How about a huge hard drive (80g) and a partnership with Itunes?

Is it me or does the 750 seem like it is a tiny step in improvement? Isn't it possible for them to get a large harddrive in a treo big enough for it to hold many pictures, movies, and a music library? The new Ipods/a camera company with a decent megapixel number, and treo could make a truely "all in one" device. So what is the hold-up?

You had me until the partnership with itunes . . . I guess I am one of those that has a real problem with DRM . . . As far as big hard drives go, that would be good, but I don't want to do without my flash memory. Flash memory sips battery life, and hard drives will consume it. That is one of the biggest reasons you haven't seen it yet . . . However, word on the net is that apple itself is getting ready to release an iphone if you will. Of course, pretech just announced an 8 gig SD card also . . . . . I do agree that the 700/750 is an incremental improvement . .

I think we're going to see two versions of the Treo in the near future, a low-cost device, and a premium "power-user" device. With all of the smartphones out or in the pipeline, many of them much cheaper than the Treo, Palm is going to have to price something competitively, or lose market share.
EDIT: make that 4 devices, if they're going to continue to support PalmOS (ALP?) and Windows Mobile.

I don't know if you have followed Nokia or not but they have a new phone called the E62. Based on Symbion (<-Spelling?) OS, and I have heard some really nice things about this device . . . Retail price? $299!! I honestly know of a Harcore Palm guy that left the Treo for this device! And he hasn't looked back either!! I am sure as far as PDA's go, this is currently only a small segment, but with the right advertising campaign, this could really hurt POS and WM05. This phone is pretty popular in Europe and could be big in the USA. I admit, I like the looks of this device! All the more reason why Palm needs different price points offering different performance/features . . .
