I just got my first iPod (2nd generation iPod). What a truely great device. I had gotten a 10 GB for my fiance' about a year ago. She returned favor by purchasing a new 10 GB for me yesterday. It's about 1/2 the thickness of the original device. Truly an amazing looking piece of electronics. I'm an iTunes user, so I already had about 700 songs in my library. In an hour or so...I added a another 150. The sync takes minutes using the Firewire port and I was ready to go. What's great about the iPod is that it does one thing and does an awesome job of it. If you love music, you'll love the iPod. Interesting, Apple is no longer shipping PC and Mac versions. Every new iPod is cross-platform compable...like it should be.
