can someone help please..got my treo bout a month ago..love it...just tonight about 5 mins ago ...the keyboard is not responding only the touch screen...??took out battery ..tried resetting it..to no avail...luckily i still have my old phone to use..switched the sim card out...what could be wrong?:angry:

Have you done a hard reset? You should backup doing a complete HotSync prior, but this might cure the problem. If you have a Treo 680, here is how you do a hard reset on a Treo 680.

I think he provided you with one!
Have you done a
hard reset? You should backup doing a complete HotSync prior, but this might cure the problem.
Did you try it?

Sync first, then hard reset. on 650, take the battery out, press the phone on off button and hold down, then put the battery back in, continue to hold until the 2nd palm screen shows, then release, you will see "Erase all data?" , press the UP button on the 5 way controller. Hopefully that will have your keyboard back up.

hey..thank you guys..did hard,warm,soft resets nothing has worked..i dont understand it worked fine for a month then last night i sent a text ..it was a little lengthy...and then thats when my phone crapped out...its hard going back to a regular flip phone after the treo!! lol

I hate to hear that storminfla! Can you exchange it maybe? Usually on a failure, a hard or system reset cures a lot of ails . . Since it didn't work in your case, one can assume that its hardware related I guess . . . Keep us posted as to any resolutions!

well i researched my ebay transaction... and it turns out there is a warranty with the seller..so i emailed them and got reply today that they would either walk me through some things over the phone...or i could send it back for a replacement...im going to call tomorrow and see whats up..thank you again for your help..
