    Question Moving From BlackBerry to Treo

    Hi:

    That is really an answer you have to provide after you have used it to see if it meets your needs. You must have had a reason to make the change and I am hoping you did at least a bit of homework before selecting the Treo.

    What was it about the BB platform that made you think about changing? Did the Treo offer functions or features that attracted you? What is it the BB would not do for you that you thought the Treo would?

    I hope the Treo provides what you need and that you are happy with the move. Which Treo did you get?

    Well I was up for an upgrade so I was hoping to switch to something different and the Treo really caught my attention. One of the features I likes it the Ignore and Texts then that looks really cool beings I never really am able to answer my phone or anything. People contact me more through email or texts. I got the Centro and it is much slimmer and nicer then the BB.

    The Centro will probably do well for you.

    From my very limited experience, what I am gaining from moving to the 800w is one thing - multi-tasking and nothing else of great importance. What I am missing of great importance is email - ChatterEmail - nothing beats it either in the world of WM or BB. In addition, TakePhone is superior to anything like it anywhere.

    I have been very pleased with the Centro's in the family - 2 and other than the initial set up problems, both have been exceedingly good guys to use day in and out. Mine gets used heavily throughout the day with ChatterEmail, HanDBase, DTG and TakePhone plus bunches of others.
    Honolulu - 2,500 miles west of somewhere in the middle of nowhere, the land of Shakes. Kyoceria 6135, Treo 300, 600, 650, 700p, 700w, Centro & 800W, Touch Pro plus 3 other WM phones...
