Moving out - Treo Forums

Hey guys,
I'm sorry to say that I'm passing my treo 650 to my wife.(she doesnt care about phones) I've decided to try the imate SP5 phone. I will miss this site, as it has been very helpful and a good intro to smartphones.
Chris, any plans on starting a satellite forum to include WM5 phones? Or is that blasphemy?

Try Clubimate and msmobiles.com as they are good sites.

What made ya move from the 650, sounds like because of the choice of device wifi and possiblity stability?

I've had fun with my treo, but I feel that there are some limitations to this device. The lack of wifi and edge, for example. Also, I've had to add several 3rd party apps to make the treo worth using. They are nice apps, but altogether, it made the phone unstable.The SP5 that I'm getting is also much smaller, better camera and screen resolution. I've found that I can sacrifice the keyboard to get a smaller phone. I think I would have gone with the Tmobile MDA if I really wanted a keyboard.Last but not least, the SP5 looks really good

I'm still keeping this forum bookmarked. There's a wealth of information here, even non-treo related stuff.

We do discuss "everything treo" here...and that includes Windows Mobile. I do have another site, TreoMobile, that is dedicated to coverage of the Treo 700 and Windows Mobile 5. Unfortunately, you won't find the activity as robust as here at ET. I'd check out the sites recommended by Antoine.
